About Morse Code Translator HQ
Morse Code Translator HQ makes free, accurate code and cipher tools for learners, puzzle fans, teachers and radio amateurs.
Tools so far: the Morse code translator with sound, light, vibration and WAV download, and the printable Morse code alphabet.
How we check the code
- Every character comes from the international standard, ITU-R Recommendation M.1677-1, read in the original, and is checked against two other published tables.
- Symbols that aren't in the standard are labeled as unofficial, and we say so where sources disagree.
- Timing follows the ITU spacing rules and the ARRL's published Farnsworth formula. Automated tests check every character and the timing math on each release.
Who runs this site
Morse Code Translator HQ is a small independent website, not affiliated with the ITU, the ARRL or any radio organization. Every tool is free, needs no account, and runs in your browser; your messages are never sent to us.
